“Enno’s Group Portrait of Capitalism is a great art concept and challenges the audience to explore the future of capitalism and society”

Maurice van Tilburg (Former CEO of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange – Euronext Amsterdam)

Philosophy

Enno has created a modern time version of a group portrait, capturing Mondriaan-like images of the top 25 multi-billion emblem companies. In the best tradition of traditional 17th century painters like Rembrandt and Frans Hals, Rijpma portrays the elite of the world. For this group portrait Enno chose to adjust his medium and, instead of actual portraits these icon-institutions can be recognized by scanning the Q-aRt codes Rijpma made as a symbol of modernization and digitization. A new model for capitalism according to Rijpma.

Within the QR code of ‘Group Portrait of Capitalism’ you will find 25 more. These 25 QR codes are the at the stock market listed most valuable companies in the world (seen on September 18, 2020) : Alibaba, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Bank of America, Berkshire, Facebook, ICBC, Intel, Johnson & Johnson, JP Morgan Chase, Master Card, Microsoft, Nestle, NOVARTIS, PetroChina, Pfizer, Samsung, Saudi Aramco, Tencent, The Home Depot, Toyota, United Health Group, VISA, Walmart.
